Test Requirements Overview

Real-life practice unifies the learning experience and elevates your teaching skills. To qualify for the Humani™️ Teacher Training Certificate, you must complete specific practice requirements and submit your materials prior to scheduling your practical exam. Below are two requirements you will need to complete to schedule your final exam: submit a practice log and a teaching video.

  • Details: Track and submit your practice hours to demonstrate hands-on learning and teaching application.

    For Humani Mat + Foundations Certificate:

    〰️ 30 hours of self-practice

    〰️ 30 hours of practice teaching

    Important: DO NOT put your personal information directly into the log. First, copy the log, and edit your copy of the log, not the original.

  • In order to schedule your final LIVE exam, you will first submit a video of you teaching the following:

    For Humani Mat + Foundations Certificate:

    〰️ Submit a 45-minute video teaching a student or group on the Mat.

    For Humani Mat + Foundations and Reformer Certificate:

    〰️ Submit a 45-minute video teaching a student or group on the Reformer.

Live Practical Test

Once you’ve completed to requirements above, you can schedule your final exam. To earn your Certificate, you will schedule a 60 or 75 minute live virtual session with our team. We'll join via Zoom to observe you teach your student.

  • Mat + Foundations Certificate:

    Duration: 50 minutes on the Mat, plus 2-3 selected bonus exercises. Total time 60 minutes.

    Mat + Foundations and Reformer Certificate:

    Duration: 50 minutes on the Reformer, 15 minutes on the Mat, plus 3-5 chosen bonus exercises. Total time 75 minutes.

  • Your practical test must demonstrate a clear understanding of the material, showcasing your ability to design and conduct a session tailored to your student.

  • We strongly recommend you apply for 1 certificate only. The Reformer Certificate includes the Mat + Foundations Certificate, so if you plan on doing both, we suggest you apply for the Humani Mat + Foundations and Reformer Certificate.

  • Ready to take your practical test? Submit your practice log and practice video first to info@humanistudios.com .

Certification Exam & Critical Thinking

Think of the certification process as your way of demonstrating that you’ve absorbed the material and have put some practice into your craft. If you do not pass the exam the 1st time, we will give you detailed feedback about skills you can work on to get it done the 2nd time. You must wait a minimum of one month to schedule your 2nd attempt.

Access and Inner Circle Membership

Your program includes a 1 year live Humani Community membership.

As a grad, you have a 12 month access to this program, including all course materials, videos, and office hours with Maria and her team. The membership also includes, any future course updates.

After 12 months from the date you purchased the course, you are invited to continue to stay on as a member to continue to access the course portal, receive additional resource videos, have access to all our live Q+As, and most importantly, have direct group access to Maria at office hours. You will also receive all new course updates.

Make sure you sign up for your annual membership below (when it’s time) before your access expires.
